What Rapid Peel™ is used for

This product is used to:

• Provide for powerful exfoliation to reveal fresh, glowing, younger looking skin.

• Reduce the depth of wrinkles by smoothing the skin, hence reducing the visible signs of ageing.

• Rejuvenate the skin.

• Increase the cell renewal process.

• Make the skins texture smoother and more uniform.

• Reduce the appearance of scarring and blemishes.

• Reduce hyperpigmentation and other signs of photodamage, promoting a brighter complexion.

Standard cautions

Prior to use, patch test on a small section of the treatment area and wait 24 hours. Discontinue use if allergic reaction or irritation occurs. Avoid eyes, mouth, inflamed, sun burnt or broken skin. For external use only.

Sunburn Alert:

This product contains Glycolic Acid that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product.

How to use Rapid Peel™

Follow all directions listed on carton and insert. If you do not understand the instructions on the carton, ask your healthcare professional for help. Directions

Dispense 2 pumps and warm in the palms of your hands then massage a thin layer onto the face and neck, taking care to avoid the eyes and mouth. Leave on the skin for the appropriate length of time outlined below and rinse with warm water immediately after. This treatment should only be used once a week.

Week 1 & 2 - leave on for 1 minute

Week 3 & 4 – leave on for 2 minutes

Week 5 & 6 – leave on for 3 minutes

Week 7 & 8 – leave on for 4 minutes

Week 9 & 10 – leave on for 5 minutes

Week 11 & 12 – leave on for 6 minutes

What is the active ingredient in Rapid Peel™?

Rapid Peel™ contains Glycolic Acid, a type of Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) commonly known as ‘fruit acid’ which occurs naturally in sugar cane juice.

How does Rapid Peel™ work?

Glycolic Acid enhances the loosening of dead and lifeless skin cells (corneocytes) so that the fresh new supple skin underneath can be revealed immediately. With prolonged use Glycolic acid is also able to brighten the colour of the skin, reducing the mottled pigmentation commonly associated with photodamage.

Is Rapid Peel™ safe?

This cosmetic product is generally extremely safe. If your skin is particularly sensitive, you may experience slight irritation. If this happens you should discontinue use of this product.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids may initially cause the delicate skin on the face to become somewhat more susceptible to sunburn, however this effect normalises after the product is used for a couple of months. In the mean time simple protective measures should be applied such as avoiding harsh UV exposure, applying broad spectrum sunscreen (SPF ≥15) and wearing a wide brimmed hat.

How long will it take until I can see visible results when I use Rapid Peel™?

The exfoliation of dead, hardened skin cells with Rapid Peel™ results in an immediate smoothing of the surface of the skin. Weekly use of Rapid Peel™ for 12 weeks will allow for an improvement of mottled pigmentation caused by photodamage, further enhancing surface texture.
